My mum asked my step-dad if he was laying the dinner table, as instructed to do so. He replied to her (in the kitchen), "oh yes dear........ i'm properly house-trained, you know". She retorted, "well it took me enough years!" He winked at me & said (in a low voice), "i made sure of that!"
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

You are dead right there Nev, my life is so much happier and stress free when my wife is in a good mood. The key is to let them believe that they are in control and are having the final say whilst you sit quitely in the background steering the ship and avoiding the icebergs they would undoubtely hit.
No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery

when alls said and done I have a great wife she does look after me really well , and when I wanted to foster an ex girlfriends son(not mine) she said yes to save him going in care(had him 5yrs now) she doesnt moan about all the time i am out with the dogs, she loves coming foraging even though she wont eat all of it, but she will try it.If I am late from work she does all my animals, she always has a cuddle for me and always knows when I need a cuddle. She is a master at deflecting all the aggro of life from me , puts up with myy stupid jokes and pranks, doesnt even moan if I am listening to the Macc Ladds(tell me another woman that doesnt) and lastly she is AS SEXY AS HELL and I love her :hugish:

Let us be silly and free

It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

When we first got married my other half would come home from work and go straight to the living room and put the telly on, decicided enough was enough so hid telly and put our wedding photo in it's place he got the hint and made sure he came to say hello and chat to me as soon as he got home!
