leek carentan need help please
ok i have bought some leek carentan seed from portugal via ebay one problem the growing instructions are in potugese, anyone help me out from their knowledge banks on when to grow in doors transplant out

Maincrop winter vegetable. Large thick stems with blue-green foliage for cropping October to early January. Indoor sowings early under glass for exhibition work. Full growing instructions on packet.

I'm keen to try 'Carentan',and managed to get some from Nicky's seeds (following a lead from this site-Ta!
).
These will be my late season leeks-I have 'Longbow' and 'King Richard' for earlies.
Several years ago,I had good results with 'Bulgarian Giant'-but these seem to be very difficult to get hold of now.
