Today though, I had a visit from a Health Visitor linked nursery nurse, to discuss ds1's toilet training or refusal of, then a disastrous trip to the allotment, and a home visit from the doctor to discuss ds2's persistent death rattle wheeze and the introduction of a steroid inhaler (and after two nights of NO sleep for me or him, he is now sleeping after one squoosh). The night is young, however, but I am not

It just seems relentless, the constant administering of medicine, the rubbing on of cream, the tiresome drudge of the toilet training and then the dayglo nappies that ds2 produces. I find it hard to remain positive, in fact I find it hard to stay awake at times! Plus I am working part time, and having to get myself, the kids and the house sorted is rather unsatisfying also. Dh works 40 miles away, so by the time he is home there is about half an hour beofre the bedtime routine has to start.
I don't know what I expect to achieve by moaning like this, but today was a personal best for home visits and genearl crappiness.
