Hi,
We find we have 4 veg (grown on allotment) in most meals, but seriously lack in protein foods. We eat lots of chick peas, soya beans, butter beans.
Can we grow any of these in this country?
At the moment we grow runner and dwarf french beans, mange tout, sugar snap and normal peas.
I am trying to think of high proteins that I can grow!
Next year we hope to try growing amaranths and quinoa so we will have some of our own grains :)

I'm hoping to grow butter beans next year, took a bit of finding as they are called lima beans in most catalogues. Here's a link to the uk place I found for them.
