Wow. Feels like a celebration now!

Thanks everyone.

You can be the long-haired psychologist Andy and I will be the barefoot one, and everyone that comes to us gets a free eco profile and some mushrooms or citrus.

Sound like the makings of a good business card?

Andy would be a plant psycho ..

And Boots the animal one !

you can go around the country side to help farmers who have problems managing their livestock ..

actually .. could you come to talk to my billy goat because I came back late last night ... and he was sleeping in the shed .. on top of the old rabbit hutch ... what came to his mind ? I have no clue !

Hmmmmm... Boots, the barefoot, animal psychologist.

I'd be quite interested in your findings about my animal side.

Hmmmmmmm......!

I know that in cat psychology they when they bring back a bird it is because they think you can't hunt yourself and so they are almost treating you like one their kittens. Also they will meaow at you to say hello as they are mimicing our language. Examples of how animals interact with other species. Perhaps this is what the billy goat is going, he is trying to bond with the old rabbit? Was the rabbit alive at the same time as the goat? Maybe he misses the rabbit. Maybe it was just the most comfortable place to go?

Not sure about plant psychology is there such a thing? And boots looks like you have the southern hemisphere and myself the northern for our clients.

 Was it raining? Goats always head to the high ground during rain, and will naturally do it at dusk or if they are threatened. Despite their horns, they are quite a vulnerable animal, so high ground provides them with protection. They can better defend themselves head on, down hill.

Plant Psychology? That's a giggle. Unless you plan on investigating the effects of music, song and speech on plant growth maybe.

Just don't ask for Muddy's help. His song choices would wilt the strongest oak.

Animal side, huh? Mmm. Hmmmmm. Think it would be easier to interpret the turnip...

Actually Andy you could be pretty close ..

I call it the old rabbit hutch because it's been a couple of months that the rabbits live outside ... but in the second field .. so they didn't have contact with the billy anymore ...

But having recently had 2 litters of bunnies within a month (from one female), I had to separate the rabbits and moved the male with the first set of bunnies in this old hutch ..

So it could very well be that they were trying to bound again .. because they might be missing each others ..

As for the most confortable place .. I doubt because the goat has been sleeping in the shed for months now, with the company of the rabbits during the cold nights and untill they were moved outside.

So I think you are pretty good at animal psychology Andy :thumbright: you should make that a career .. how much do I how you ? because I had the privilege of being you first client !

To answer Boots, it was raining but he always sleeps in that shed. so I think you should stick with plants

Interesting that.... our cat brought a bird into the bedroom this morning.. I spent the next 10 minutes trying to get it out because I didn't want blood and feathers all over the floor... got it out of our bedroom and it went into the other one and under the bed.... (the cat that is... with bird in mouth) - finally got her out of there... into sitting room... where I finally managed to separate cat from bird... meantime the dog wanted to join in with the fun and started chasing the cat too

I hate it when cats catch birds... I know it's how nature works... I don't mind it when she catches mice though.

She does meow at us a lot and comes in (normally without bird) and kisses you on the nose to say good morning... generally purring loudly at the same time.

Goats... that's really interesting Boots.. i know they don't like rain and they are so friendly.

Right... can I book an appointment with the shrink please... 12th August suit you?? LOL

Congratulations Andy and Boots. I have a pretty good idea of what it's like as the OH is doing the final year of her Masters Degree (yes, as well as doing all our other stuff), so very well done.

My cat must think I've got a serious problem feeding myself, then - I had to remove two birds from various parts of the house in the last two days..

Congrats from me to both of you! I didn't have a graduation ceremony either. In Germany it's not a big thing, anyway - they simply forgot to tell me about it, as I'd picked up my certificate early (needed it for a job application). And here in Aberdeen I simply didn't see any point in wasting that much money (which I didn't have) on dressing up in some funny black gown... And hearing useless speeches.
