What is your biggest achievment this year?
THis has already been a pretty full on year, getting ssish in the times twice, in the Guardian not to mention how well the alltoment is doing. but my biggest achievment was graduating from university. I failed a few modules along the way and should have graduated back in 2004 with the rest of my classmates.
I found sitting down and getting the essays done was very difficult and worse still as I lived in the centre of Bath oppostie a noisy pub and next door to an arts centre. But when I picked up that certificate and said thank you to the person who handed it out I was over the moon.

Well done indeed, Andy. Sometimes I rather regret never having done the university thing when I was younger, but by then I had grown me hair long and become a bit on a drop-out (in those days, long hair was not so much a fashion statement as a political one).
A decent education is never wasted whatever you do later, and I reckon that you will have learned more at university than just the course work.

Woo hoooooo! Oh yeah! - Can I party with you Andy? I just graduated too, and same story... had to wait a year to retake one course, so it has been a bit long suffering.
Hummed and haa-ed about the grad ceremony, and decided the trip to the big smoke would just cost money I should/could be using on the farm, so I don't get to wear my robes and throw my hat - which is a tad disappointing. Am waiting on my testamur through the mail.
I was so excited when I realised it was over, and bounced around the place.... told all the animals!
I was going to put it here, but figured folks might not be interested or might think I was being a big head or something. I soooo relate to your feeling of accomplishment though. There's nothing else like it, I don't think. Fantastic feeling.
Well done mate. Will have to go round and tell all the critters there is another celebration!

Congratulations Boots! Don't be silly, of course we'd love to have heard straight away. That's what friends are for - to help you celebrate the good things and commiserate with you for the bad things. Celebrating the good things is more fun though. Don't you dare keep your good news to yourself ever again!

LMAO, I heard from a mate the otherday that a friend of theirs had decided to drop out of Media Studies. I couldn't work out whether that made them extreamly bright or extreamly thick!.Muddypause wrote:I was worried it might have been Media Studies, or something equally vacuous (obviously, if anyone who has such a degree is reading this, I clearly don't know what I'm talking about).
Well done Andy and Boots, it can't have been easy to carry on once your momentum had slowed, and your mates left.
