I was actually saying it tounge in cheek, I stayed down in Cornwall for a summer many years ago and learnt a little about the pasty. - I will say that a proper cornish pasty is 100 times better than the rubbish we get just a bit further up from you.

I stayed in a polzheath and Rock for a bit incase you were wondering

something the pastie maker in St Mawes made very plain to me was that it was a "bl**dy pastie", and not a "Cornish pastie" - to him by definition if it was called the latter it was made elsewhere - and hence indedible, and would probably give you boils~! (he drank a bit! :wink:
