ok - i like Rosendula's idea - lets try it on one day - pick a day, and pick 4 differnt times to meet. - and try and make those times possible to as many people as you can.

How about a first session this evening, Tues 13th Oct? UK BST 8pm-10pm?

Well, some-one had to set a time & there's stuff-all on the goggle box tonight!

I think 8pm U.K is about 3pm in Ontario. So I will try to make it at that time. Although I am at work. My supervisor is away today. So yeah  .

Sorry I missed the chat, I was unsure how to work out what time it would be here. :banghead: Can any body help with converting UK time to new zealand time :dontknow:

I know Sydney, Australia is 16 hours a head of Toronto, and England is 5 hours a head of Toronto. So 16-5= +9 between U.k and Sydney? So factor in what your time difference is between Sydney and where you live, Voila! I think that should be about right or close?

Wanted to add that I had fun on the chat today and look forward to the next one.

It's not as simple as that as both countries have daylight saving time!

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=22

Auckland is normally 12 hours ahead of the Greenwich Mean Time but both the UK and NZ are one hour ahead at the moment. However the UK is about to go back to winter time (GMT) on 25th October!

So it might be best if the chat times are posted in GMT for everyone in other countries to work it out from.

I know, i will be 8 hours ahead when you go back to GMT.

I thought that time and date was accurate, for the day and timezone. Sorry for any confusion!

Don't worry I already confused myself and had to go back and edit my post.

Thankfully France changes on the same day as the UK these days; when I was first here it was a different date and boy that was confusing!

So when's the next one? If we follow a rolling pattern of times and days, that would mean the next one should be early hours of a UK Wednesday morning. Would someone like to suggest a time?

Looking at you post you said
6.46pm wednesday 14th

But I'm typing this at 11.20BST & the recorder is working in GMT!

Just to add to the confusion!

I really enjoyed last night's chat, but I'm in bed by midnight most nights so I'll let someone-else suggest the next one!
