sorry to gloat but i have finally managed to plant my beans and what happens today my dad turns up to visit with a few spare plants he had left over ! :cheers:
i now have beetroots ,peppers ,peas(something ate all my originals), corrgettes ,tomatoes , more rasberrys and some lettuces vegi patch now longer has spare room and may need enlarging :cheers: :mrgreen: :cheers:
try hard mean well and never give up

I was standing there yesterday with 12 cabbage plants wondering where to plant them on allotment and a passing delivery man said - "well there is the path" ......

Great when it gets like that isn't it? I did find a space under the netting with the other brassicas (if brassicas hadn't been invented what would pigeons do I wonder).

He had a point about the path - there are still spaces where I can plant things in pots. No idea what though at the moment.

I dug up my path at the end of the garden last week and put french beans there instead. :)
Is killing slugs with a spade overkill?

:lol: tis the season of digging up paths ... I just managed to extend "Reggies" plot by about 2 foot by digging up a path .. he had let the weeds grow and cut them back for better footing ... so what I shall I put in there...
