sorry to gloat but i have finally managed to plant my beans and what happens today my dad turns up to visit with a few spare plants he had left over !

I was standing there yesterday with 12 cabbage plants wondering where to plant them on allotment and a passing delivery man said - "well there is the path" ......
Great when it gets like that isn't it? I did find a space under the netting with the other brassicas (if brassicas hadn't been invented what would pigeons do I wonder).
He had a point about the path - there are still spaces where I can plant things in pots. No idea what though at the moment.
