i cant find anything about quilquina, but i´d say it grows better in cool weather than okra does...

coriander really doesnt like drying out... apart from that its very easy here, we grow it through the winter

i grew some last year, then cut it down, not realising it was a perrenial... it grew back through the winter, and is great now... even though we had coldest winter for hundred years... minus 7 and frosts every morn for months (not usual in portugal)
