Fruit and veg growers wanted for book.

We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

Fruit and veg growers wanted for book.

Post: # 2295Post jill mead »

hello,
I am self sufficient but only in Honey. We keep bees on our London rooftop.
I am working on a book about Superfoods and would love to hear from producers willing to allow me to photograph on their allotments etc.
I have a list of 60 foods. Many are tropical but all the English ones I would like to shoot here.
I am keen to do this over next two months.
Ideally near London but I will travel.
Very keen to hear from anyone with knowledge of wild mushrooms and also globe artichokes.
I would be so very grateful for any help with this project.
My mobile is 077 68 694118.
thanks
Jill Mead

Superfoods Book

One of the strings I have to my bow is a degree in Nutrition and food science. I also have a number of years experience in growing fruit and veg, I am happy to offer any help you need in either of these two fields (if you pardon the pun) if you require it. You can contact me through the messaging service on the forum or use dave@selfsufficientish.com.

I am also an hour away from London and willing to travel. I will however be in Norway for the second week in May so it would have to be before or after that.
