Hey, I think that everybody has a right to whichever religion (or none) they prefer, and to talking about it, too. I for one am always interested in hearing about other's beliefs - as long as nobody tries to convert me! I personally am atheist, some of my best friends are anything from devout Christian to Bahai (which I'm sure is spelled somehow differently), and we all get on perfectly well, because they respect that I don't have the same belief, and I respect their's.QuakerBear wrote: Anyway, this is a self-surfficiancy forum and not a religious forum and I've probably said too much already on religion so tatty bye for now.

There seems to be a constant belief set running throughout this thread (and indeed this forum) which I think is a similar constant to the basis of most religious beliefs. That is the idea that we should try to get on with our fellow (wo)man no matte what their faith. A belief that I hold onto quite strongly.
I used to work for Bristol University and saw this in action with a ground breakingradio station - where Jews and Muslims work together. This world could do with more of the same.

I like the differences OTM. Remember this, the more religions there are, the more festivals (ahem, parties) there are to gate crash and get free food from....
We were at our local Mosques centenery celebrations recently. Mr. QB systematicly tried all the food from each stall. Digested for a while, and then returned to the winning stall for seconds.
