It's been lovely here for days too - not as warm in the shade as when it was cloudy but you can feel the warmth in the sun's rays. I'm enjoying working outside and the lighter evenings, though not the backache when I come back indoors!

Yup, a nice few days of sun to warm the old bones is always welcome, spent a few years in Finland a fews years back, so Stony,s welcome to my share of the cold stuff

lovely day here, I went outside to get the cover off my garlic and it was so nice i got myself a cuppa and sat on a bin bag in the sun. it was too wet to sit on the ground!! I now have to door next to me open and can again see my washing.



due to the way our bit of terrace is built we only get direct sunlight for the 3-4 hours that it takes the sun to pass between a gap in the houses.
still nice though.
