Ms Average here too, i got 35. That surprises me, i thought i was well on my way to internet addiction!

I think that if i was scoring myself based on my previous job, i would have got a higher score because the internet was there in front of me, and boredom drove me to it, whereas now, i onoly work 6 hours a day at the most and there's no internet in the classrooms, so i'm not tempted to stray onto it.

I've only had a laptop since April and I know I spend more time online than when we just had the pc upstairs but I can live with an "average" score of 29 :dontknow:

Well I started to do it and then got bored so gave up. That's just typical of my internet addiction. I'm addicted for 10 minutes then I get bored and do something else.

Like you, Fee, it depends where I'm working and how bored I am during the day. At the moment I'm far too busy to access the internet at all at work. Which is great.

Cheers
Zoe

 Yup I didn't know what to answer for that one, I usually neglect housework for the gardening! When it's dry as it often is here in summer I have a valid excuse in waiting until a 'rainy day' - however today that day has come!!!

The same as me, although I never thought of my mobile phone as old fashioned! I think I'm incredibly modern to even have one.

I think people are actually more addicted to their mobile phones than the internet as on another forum in answer to a question 'if your house was burning and you were allowed to take 3 things, what would they be?' most people answered their mobile phones! :dontknow: :dontknow: Surely you could just go and buy another one!!! You can't just go to T£scos and buy another set of all your important documents, and you can never replace your photos, hard disc, lifetime memorabilia etc but a mobile is just a telephone and surely can't be a treasured possession!

I use my mobile to store phone numbers, addresses, appointments and as a notebook, so it would definitely be something I'd pick up as I left the building! It's what keeps me (kind of) organised

ETA it's also my alarm clock!

My mobile is the only thing keeping me connected to a lot of people, so i'd pick mine up...and my laptop, which is attached to my hard drive, and then probably as many boks as i could get in my hands...or maybe ny knitting needles...ok:

1. My laptop and hard drive
2. My bag (aha! Catches in my mobile, pda, wallet, passport etc)
3. books...

Well I would pick up my handbag cos it contains my passport and various bank and healthcare cards - it also contains my diary (that's a book with words in it where you write people's addresses and phone nos and mark your appointments  ). I do actually have a mobile in there too!

But my box with important documents like marriage certificate, hubby's previous divorce certificate, birth certificates and my citizenship papers to prove I'm British these days and all sorts of other stuff that would be really hard to get new copies of, are far more important than other people's phone numbers, which I could just look up in a phone book or on line and rewrite out into my diary!

Not to mention all my treasured family tree stuff and photos of great grandparents etc which is more important even than my passport!
