actually.. at the risk of being pedantic...
they are earlies and maincrop potatoes in the garden
but if i were asking himself to get some spuds from the shop I would ask for either new or ordinary potatoes...
why hamster? is this to settle a bet?

I've always called them 'old potatoes' and so does everyone in my family. I thought it was absolutely normal, and then I happened to mention it to my bf and he creased up laughing and mocked me mercilessly. I wanted to see if I was the only one.
