Re: Oh GodI'm 30

Yes what all the above said( Iam much older and wiser than you having been 30 for nearly a year now)Don't forget you ditched a career that was making you unhappy and are following your dreams that is very brave and exciting in the scheme of things and I applaud it loudly (not that you need my approa...

Finally... some good news!

Ithought about posting this in the news section (please move if you think it should be there) but I didn't want people who don't use the section to miss out. Re: weight loss group

Flo, that sounds sensible( I am not sure about your mass calculations though, I am almost sure you weren't 187,25kg.. I am no good with stones etc is that 87.25kg?) Are you *ahem* vertically disinclined (a bit short?) as I am around 5''4' (can't get my apostrophes to work- some sort of hideous hot k...

Re: I flipping hate football.

Me too. Can't stand sport, gets me all fired up thinking about how much money and time is wasted on it. I live near a "footy" (which is Australian Rules football... much stupider)Stadium and the sheer number of people of all ages trudging to go and yell and grown men playing in the drizzle and mud a...

"Mulching" Ivy?

I have just bought a second hand chipper/mulcher and I was wondering if the Ivy I am going to get rid of can be mulched and then used in the compost or if it is poisonous or will grow or.....? I don't know much about ivy except I don't think I should have the chickens eating it as a way of clearing ...

Re: Can you trust your mechanic?

We can trust our mechanics, well at least one workshop we can- the other can charge retail=20% for parts which we can get our selves wholesale-but we have a wee Car Hire company and have many many cars and a lot to do with mechanics and the automotive industry. I would go to a dealership for anythin...

Re: Hyperhidrosis, anxiety and depression *help*

Hi there, I sounds like you are doing it pretty tough. I think it will probably be a multipronged attack which will help the most. I have found that my anxiety and depression have responded well to a treatment plan with a few approaches. As Thomzo says Cognitive Behaviour Therapy will help and he re...

Re: weight loss group

Marmalady- are you sure you aren't losing mass? I find it is hard for me to lose"weight" but measurements show that I am getting smaller as I am muscling up and losing fat at the same time. I can't be bothered actually measuring but sometimes I use a pair of snug non stretch pants to gauge mass loss...

Raspberries in Containers?

Not wanting to open up a can of worms by dwelling on the most contentious of all fruits the raspberry- has anyone grown them in containers? If so what sort and how and all that?
