Hi there

Post: # 99037Post Smokehouse »

Hi Folks just wanted to say hello. I am looking to go entirely off grid at some point within the next 12 months and probably not the in UK but somewhere in Europe. I look forward to reading as many posts as possible and hopefully picking up a lot of tips about where to start
I know I aint doing much....................
But.....doing nothing means a lot to me

Hi Smokehouse - we went off the grid and into a self-sufficient lifestyle some 4 years ago now. Just love it and wishing you luck. It was the best move we have ever done.

We are in Australia by the way, so a bit different but as we are in the New England Area we do have similar weather temperatures to many of your areas. Anyway, nice to hear from you and good luck. Oh by the way we have written up lots of info on our experiences if you want to have a look. www.sarariver.com It may be of some assistance.

Cheers
Mauzi

I'd love to do what you're doing but a step too far for OH. Well actually two steps but anyway, we do our best !

Hi and welcome.
It's nice to be important,
But it's more important to be nice.
