London Gardening Girl

Post: # 97242Post Jules »

Greetings to all you fellow gardening people...

Found this website looking up a query this morning - before heading out to the greenhouse to get planting. Am looking forward to reading stuff about foraging - have been intending on doing a bit more of that soon. Fortunately I live on the edge (literally) of Epping Forest so we get an abundance of all sorts - particularly blackberries - I'd never manage to grow a bush THAT huge.

Currently have in the garden - carrots, potatoes (2 types), onions, spanish onions (naughty me brought the seeds back from Spain), calabrese, purple sprouting broccoli, yellow courgette, green courgette, red cherry tomates, yellow 'tumbling tom' tomatoes, mange tout peas, habernero chilli, jalapeno chilli, cayenne chilli, pimientos, gooseberries, strawberries, blueberries, white grape, tayberry, redcurrants, gooseberries, basil, oregano, chives, rosemary, coriander, mint and sage.

So any help needed on any of those, I should be able to oblige.. Lets all cross our fingers for fabulous weather. London is FREEZING. :flower:

Yes, but the sun is shining! Very tempting to go out there and plant stuff that'll probably freeze to death the next night. :flower:

Welcome to the Ishers, Jules.

Ahhh what a grand welcome!!

How great to have people with the same interests as me on a forum. I don't know anyone (friends wise) who do anything like this. They're missing out!

That's why we spend half our lives chatting away here because most people think we're nuts.
