i'm not exactly new - i registered a long time ago and then lost this lovely forum when i changed to a new laptop and couldn't remember the name to find it again. i searched and searched, and was bitterly disappointed. now they've sent me a very welcome note and at last i can reconnect. first up, i was really wanting that scrumpy cider recipe.
we're self-sufficient in apples, although for all but a few months they're sun-dried. one of trees produces mobs of wonderfully flavoursome, juicy eatng apples but they don't keep well - in fact they tend to go cidery if you leave them too long - what better way to deal with it than help them along!
