Take 20 feet of galvanised sheep/pig wire fencing. Roll up twice to create about a 2 foot 10 inch tube.
At the appropriate time stand it on your garden and twist it to mark the soil.
Dig a channel about 3 inches deep and place the wire in it.
Fill it in slightly then plant about 100 pea seeds in the channel evenly spaced.
Cover seeds.
Erect sign directing mice into next doors garden.
This provides a suitable stable structure for the peas to climb up.
If you grow a tall variety join 2 together lengthways.
