Just in from the country

Post: # 75588Post Justinian »

Hi everyone,

I'm Justinian (spelt my own name wrong on the profile - must correct it) and I live with my wife in the Lincolnshire Fens on a two-acre smallholding. We have 16 goats (a mixed bag of breeds and sexes), two miniature pot-bellied pigs, three old sheep, four dogs, one cat and several scraggy chickens and cockerells.

We love the life here even if sometimes the nettles overtake us and the fences are forever needing repair. We are not so remote that we cannot see other houses but they are about a quarter of a mile away.

As to interests, we, probably like you, find ourselves bound up looking after the stock and the land but we like to relax by going online, watching telly, reading, eating and sleeping

HI Justinian, welcome to the Ishers!

!6 goats - no wonder you are busy with fencing... I have only two and they can give me enough trouble!

Thanks everyone for your warm welcomes. Warmer than it has been today with the wind sweeping across the flat lands - I am quite envious of the sheep in their woolly fleeces.

I am now going onto another division of ISH to ask a veterinarian-type question. Bye for now, see you there.
