Just been to check on the brassicas and ive noticed that some of my cauli heads seem to be going dry. A couple seem fine and are heading up nicely and there are some that although quite large the florets only seem (or they look as though) are forming right at the top like a flat surface instead of a round type floret.
Its the first time ive grown any veg so have no idea what it might be. I have some calabrese and red cabbage growing right next to the caulis in the same bed and ive had a really good harvest from the calabrese, the red cabbage are yet to form any heads.
Its a brand new raised bed with new organic compost ive purchased this year.
Any idea what might be happening?
