Hello frae Sunny East Lothian

Post: # 59079Post Thurston Garden »

I have been lurking for a wee while now and thought it was time to register! I exchange comments with Stonehead and Dibnah via our blogs and heard of here via these two!

We have a very small smallholding/market garden in East Lothian. 3000sqft polytunnel, 2 acres, 28 hens (mostly black rocks) currently without pigs :-( but still have a freezer full of pork :-) Hatching some Sasso's to break the pork monotony....

Looking forward to getting involved here!
Thurston Garden.

from down under. I noticed that your location is Sunny Dunny. A dunny here & OZ is a long drop toilet. Or do you have one and sit in the sun and contemplate life?

I had the same thoughts! I was imagining an open air dunny in Scotland.

Neither do we have an open air lav (apart from the compost heap/pee heap!), nor are we in Dundee - Sunny Dunbar, the sunniest place in Scotland and birth place of John Muir. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Muir

It's no been sunny the day though!!!

Unfortunately, I think of an open-air toilet as well.
