Hello
Hello!
I've been reading this forum avidly since I discovered it yesterday. I'm a student, so my level of self-sufficiency is very 'ish' indeed: limited to a few herbs on my windowsill and frenzied baking and soup-making as a diversion from essays and revision.
But I'm getting more and more enthusiastic about the idea of having a garden and space for a treadle sewing machine when I graduate next year, so I shall probably be turning to you all for some advice then...

A formerly almost unheard of (and deeply irritating) TV presenter who has the nickname 'Hamster'. Recently achieved some notoriety by crashing a car at 278,000 miles an hour (well, something like that). Docs said he had brain damage, but it has made no noticeable difference (some of us were hoping for an improvement in his personality).Wombat wrote:Zooooooooooo (makes the sign of the open hand passing over the top of the head)Millymollymandy wrote:Hi and welcome!

He's one of the presenters of Top Gear, a TV prog about cars but a very un-PC and amusing one, that even people like me with no interest whatsoever in cars finds entertaining. He's very cute and his nickname is Hamster.Muddypause wrote:A formerly almost unheard of (and deeply irritating) TV presenter who has the nickname 'Hamster'.
