Just a quick question.
I've been given some jerusalem artichokes.
and was told to treat them like potatoes.
Does this mean i have to chit them?

No mate!

Just bury the buggars and they will grow like crazy. I think in a previous life they must have been weeds, cause they grow so well and can be difficult to get rid of!

also bear in mind that they cast an awful lot of shade.
they make a large dappled shade area to sit in an eat your lunch and a pukka windbreak
