Hello Everyone!
Hello Everyone!
Hi I'm Jimmy, I just saw your site on the del.icio.us homepage!
I'm living in the Midlands at the moment but I'm planning on converting a boat/barge to live on that is self-sufficient (energy wise at least) so I'd thought I'd join to see what tips you all got.
Anyways, Ill probably post some more details soon, I'm off to check out the rest of the site.

Hi Jimmy
:welcomeish:
I'm sure you will find loads of hints and tips on here... and I bet you've got some good ones to share too.
Friends of mine lived on a houseboat - that was great fun.

G'Day Jimmy!
Have you read "Sailing the Farm" by Ken Neumeyer - 10 speed press? it is all about becoming self sufficient on a small sailing boat. If you can get a copy it may be worth a look!
Welcome to the site too!
