Hmmmmm - maybe this should go into livestock or fruit and nuts!!!

Anyway, I have a gig on in a couple of weeks and my mate and guitarist has introduced me to the above KT Tunstall song which is great to sing - the problem is how do I explain it to the audience in the local village hall - anyone have any ideas as to the meaning of the song?? I seems to me to be about living life without following your hearts desire - but I get the feeling theres more to it than that!!! (Just hope its not rude - don't want to offend the vicar!! )

Any ideas anyone? Is there a site where I can look up song meanings?

I don't really NEED to explain it - it would just be useful if I could - and to know what it is I'm singing about and not just enjoying the tune!!

I sang it to my Mum and she crossed her eyes so I figured I might need an explanation just in case!!!
