Good Morning.
Good morning everyone. New member here.
Have been browsing the site for a while and have found many useful tips, especially about recycling and cutting costs.
We have several questions to ask and comments to make .. but will wait a while before plucking up the courage!

Hi guys. Favourite veg - brussels sprouts, anything salady, (jacket)potatoes.
We're very lucky as we live in the heart of the Lincolnshire veg producing area. We also have a twenty acre farm right next door and have carte-blanche to pick whatever we want of whatever they are growing. Not totally organic but pretty close. In return, naturally, we keep an eye on what might be happening on the land eg poachers, joyriders. At the moment, he has parsnips, brussels and two varieties of cabbage on the go - and I only have to cross the lawn and the boundary ditch and hey presto - acres of it!
I haven't a lot growing in my own garden and paddock at the moment as I've only been gardening on this plot two years. (Ran pigs and poultry on it for three years before that ... but it's a long and complicated story).
I have a new 14' x 8' greenhouse in the final stages of construction so hope for great things next year. I did get several large (175+ litres I think) plastic drums complete with screw fit lids earlier this year from a local food processing factory for £5 each. Most are now interlinked waterbutts but got hubby to pierce holes in one and planted it up with strawberries. A few plants died (the drought I think) but most are looking good and I hope for a good crop from them next year.
The same local food factory also has those 1000 litre, steel caged bulk fluid containers at £35 a go so they are my next big-dig project.
Enough for a first post. Thanks for the welcome and I hope I may be able to add to some of the great ss tips.

Hi Paddy's mum and :welcomeish:
That local food place sounds fantastic. The 1000 litre containers sound great.
Looking forward to hearing more from you.
