FINALLY - the water filter has been fitted

Finally - I can't remember the first time I posted about the problems we've been having with our water but at last we are able to drink the water that comes out of the tap without having to worry about eating flies legs or other nasties.

It's still coming through a little murky but then the river is in spate and we've had heavy rains so I guess that will disturb the water in the well.. I've been well and truly soaked a few times this morning as the tap has spluttered and spurted rather violently after the water was switched off.

What a relief not to have to buy bottled water any more...

What filters have you had fitted?

We dont have tap water that we can drink either as its from the source/well. I do forget, until I go to a friends house, how convenient it was to be able to run a tap for drinking water and not have to open bottles of spring water. Good for you!!
