hey
i harvested my sunflowers and was wondering about the various uses for other parts of the plant...the fiber from the stalk...the flower pods....and the head
i already know about uses for the seeds
so i was playing about with the stalks and rmoving the inner pith which is spongy and cool, when i left it over a week to dry(the stalk)...a load of black insects hatched out and were sitting on it....they were about two mil's big and were black im not sure wot they are......and i dont have photos cause i chucked em but i reckon i can get some more soon an photo them ...i tried insect identifying on el web but to no avail
any ideas?
