Hello

Post: # 30803Post Rachael »

Hi, my name is Rachael (bit obvious from the user name! ). I am a vegan from Edinburgh with a fairly long-term interest in eco-friendly living and frugality. Presently I'm bit limited in my self-sufficiency ambitions by my total lack of garden, Edinburgh City Council's long allotment waiting list, and a rule in the deeds of my flat which says I'm not even allowed a windowbox! So at the moment my efforts are mainly related to using eco-friendly products, buying as ethically as possible, trying to minimise my energy usage, and growing a small amount herbs and sprouts indoors. Hopefully this will change soon though.

Pleased to meet you all!

You are all so friendly

Yes, Andy, the rule against windowboxes was quite an unpleasant shock :pale:
