Hello From Scotland

Post: # 273687Post Ircelt »

Hi all,
I had this site emailed to me by a good friend who knows about my ambition to create a self-sufficient community.
After reading some of the posts I must say I am happy to be here.
A little about the self-sufficient community I have in mind:
The main points are focusing on energy efficiency for all homes in the community with the goal of having clean renewable energy coupled with organic food production.
I believe these goals are doable and even found one area of land that will accommodate just that.
Now you all know what I am about please feel free to comment, all questions welcome

Hello and welcome. I looked at commune living some while ago and decided that being quite eccentric and pernickity, everyone would eventually drive me round the bend or they would all start to hate me, so I have my own commune now, me and the wizard and all our animals and growing food etc, but good luck with your venture

Hi there, welcome to the site. Like your idea for a community, hope you manage to achieve it, forums like this may well be a good source of info and potential members. I am in the southwest what part of Scotland are you in and is that where you hope to establish the community? Good luck.
