Tinfoil Thief!

I had some spare boiled rice and put it out for the birds on a piece of kitchen tinfoil. I noticed that not only was the rice diminishing but also the tinfoil. I suspected magpies but then noticed a plump wood pigeon tucking into the rice and then severing a strip of tinfoil and flying off with it!

Blimey Mike, it's a bit early in the year for that award - I'm sure it'll be tested over the next 10 months

Would you believe it? I looked out of the window and there's a robin doing the same thing! Are they getting grants for insulating their nests or - more likely - do they know something we don't?

They've heard about the price of scrap metal. I reckon you'd get a couple of quid for that bit of foil.
