Purchased this device when buying eight pomegranates for making into juice. The device works well and speeds up removing the seeds from the fruit without any mess. The fruit was made into pure juice using the Champion juicer. Pictures depict the process.

Looks very efficient, Durgan. Although I have to say that the Nigella Lawson method (she has to be good for something apart from looking at ) is good.

Cut the fruit in half, hold a half upside down and bang hell out of it with a wooden spoon. Works perfectly.

Like hell it does. There is still a bit of finger work removing he seeds from the substrate, depending somewhat upon the ripeness of the fruit. Pomegranate makes marvellous juice. I must buy a few more before the import season ends.

Does for me. Perhaps there are varieties of pomegranate? When I do it, the seeds drop out perfectly, with no nasty pithy yellowy stuff attached.
