Hello from la route de le noix.

I hope this arrives in the "introduction section", still working out how this all works. But just to say we have a walnut smallholding, along with chickens (eating and laying), fruit and veg. We life in S W France, on the borders of the Correze and Dordogne, and amazed at how much food can come from the garden and in the wild here. I learnt what small amount of skills I have from my father who learnt his as a prisoner of war in Poland (before his capture he thought potatoes grw on trees!). I would love my offspring and their offspring to learn lifes basic skills of growing their own food. It is the most rewarding skill in the world. I am sure other member of this forum share me feelings.

Hello and welcome :flower: You mean potatoes don't grow on trees? I thought they grew pretty much the same as spaghetti.

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hi Neighbor, ( well almost) Welcome to the happy land, and may your Vin de Noix turn out as pleasant as the glass that I am present partaking of.
Welcome also to this happy land of ISH, where you will find Folk, who are "Friendly, Full of Knowledge, Intelligent, ("I of course, exclude myself from this Category") and, as some of my previous UK Acquaintances, would have said "Jolly Good Sorts"
I can't do great things, so I do little things with love.
