Living near Heathrow at the moment, for retirement purposes,we bought 5 acres with a couple of barns and a good well, in the Limousin,6 years ago, only retirement has come 4 years earlier than I expected, so it looks like we"ll be following the dream sooner, barns are already on the way to being converted, and 8 raised beds were filled with several tons of manure 4 years ago, so hopefully a flying start next spring,plans are afoot for a forest garden,(for the Grandkids), and I fancy a dabble with aquaponics.
We're on our way to the world of yesteryear.
