as I haven't been on in over a year what with small children etc...We still live in our little croft house on Shetland with 3 kids (Beth 5, Lucy almost 3 and the latest addition James 9 months) numerous chickens (we keep them for eggs and meat), 3 Shetland ponies and a horse. Oh and 2 cats (who massacre anything that moves, except chickens, so we are one of the few people in the area who have no rabbit/mouse problem!) and 2 whippets (who mostly sleep while the cats do all the work
), an elderly gerbil, some fish and a zebra finch (currently awaiting a new mate as sadly hers died).Slightly more self sufficientish this year as we have been growing some veg as well as keeping the chickens.
