I'm not entirely sure that I'm in the right place for this (I'm new, you know ...) but I'm going to ask away anyway. I've been making some vanilla extract and its currently in 500ml bottles but I'd like to decant it into something smaller - 250ml or even 125ml. Does anyone know where I can buy reasonably cheaply this sort of bottle?
Many thanks
Nik

Not sure about buying any but have you tried freecycle? We usually get given all our containers by people we know (whenever family or friends come round, it seems they're never without a bag of glass jars, bottles, etc). Maybe you could ask around and see if anyone has those small bottles from food colourings or those little one shot alcohol bottles?

Ebay tends to be reasonable for packaging if you are buying any quantity... some times you can find recycled...

drink fentimans (ginger beer, lemonade etc) and reuse the bottles!
