No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

Loads of things including all your winter brassicas.
Carrots, beetroot, french beans, spring onions, all salady stuff, the only thing I wouldn't bother about this late in the day is leeks (buy as baby plants and plant out) or tomatoes (again go buy from a garden centre).
And depending on where you are it may be too hot now for peas and broad beans.

Re: is is too late!!!
Over here in Ireland, Aldi are doing a 'mature plant' sale at the moment - tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, at 4 euros a go - keep your eyes open for similar where you are.
Or you could pop to the local garden centre & see what they have on sale & rescue those?
I'd try anything that you have seeds for anyway, just in case!

Re: is is too late!!!
I second the mature plants - there is practically nothing now that you cannot buy from garden centres.
Also, get hold of some strawberry runners from someone and stick them in in the next few months...then you will get a nice decent early crop next summer/late spring.
Oh and stick in some perpetual spinach...that will keep you going all winter if it gets established before winter starts.
