Did anyone else like this series, it was a little bit more farm orientated than the Good life still on a simular theme?

I was not a big fan of this when it first came out, I supose that was a few years back now. I think my main reason was that David Jason was not playing Dell boy. (daft really) The same reason I do not like A touch of Frost actually I don't really like crime drama either. Mind you I did like David Jason as Dangermouse
