Introducing myself

We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

Introducing myself

Post: # 231209Post sanchufish »

Just discovered the site, nice to find so many like minded. West of scotland with a cool damp soil, so slugs a problem, in fact they were the reason I found the site. So my four nosed nemisis can't be all bad. Working on several community projects mainly with school pupils to try and encourage recycling, healthy eating, raising skills profiles and self esteem of those involved, lowering stress levels and low impact exercise, all the good things we get from our gardens. Anyway off I pop to continue the good fight for as little cost as possible and look forward to chewing the fat with anyone who cares to.

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hello! Nice to 'meet you' - I'm in the West of Scotland too, and can commiserate with the cold, damp soil. Plenty of rainwater for the water butts though (albeit slightly radioactive!). Look forward to seeing you around.
I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.
