Hi (again) from South Somerset

Hello all! I've introduced myself before a month or so ago when my family initially thought we were going to be settling down in Cornwall. Unfortunately things didn't work out there accommodation-wise and we had to give up the quarter acre allotment we thought we could get ourselves into.

The good news is we've found a wonderful home, garden, and area here in South Somerset, between Castle Cary and Wincanton! In two weeks we've managed to make a couple of veg beds (hugelkulture style), plant blueberries, strawberries and have acquired our own little flock of five chooks. This is our first real garden and foray into the self-sufficientish life and we're loving it so far (even if we could use a bit of rain ;) )

So hello to you all again and hope there are some locals around to swap tips with.
