I'm quite impressed with this!
I had some rather skanky looking oranges left in the fruit bowl today so I decided to google a recipe and came up with this: http://www.livingonadime.com/articles/orangeart.htm. The easy orange marmalade recipe turns out really rather good! Probably an instant eat rather than a store cupboard goody - but a good way to use up oranges - even the skanky ones!

And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

I didn't know what it meant. Google images soon put that right.
Yes, a skanky orange is a very interesting concept

Our former opposition leader once called a very prim and proper lady politician a "skanky ho" and later had to admit he didn't know what it meant. Strangely enough he was never elected to power.
