Hi,
I just joined the forum and would like to introduce myself. We have been planting and harvesting beds in a shared polytunnel for two years and took on an allotment last year. We are willing but inexperienced amateurs and don't always have enough time to do things at the appropriate time. Nevertheless, we have been enjoying chard (so much easier to grow than spinach - if you haven't got that much time to spend on it), cocktail tomatoes, various salad varieties, leeks, onions, garlic, beens, purple sprouting broccoli, carrots, parsnips and beetroot. We planted some berry shrubs last year and are hoping for some fruit this year (maybe prematurely?)
We love harvesting and eating our own veg and I look forward to pick up some invaluable hints and tips here.
cheers :-)

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
