I have this problem (again!!!!!). A dustbowl of a garden. Plants flopping. Gone through more than half of the 3000 litres stored.
OK the weather is beautiful and fantastic and to die for (not too hot), BUT, my garden needs water! I have the seep hose on the spuds and had to get the hose pipe out for a flower bed the other night.
I'm really not looking forward to another drought like last year. The steam feeding my pond has stopped flowing now too so if the pond level goes down 4 foot like last year I'll be ready to move to ........ er, I was going to say wet old England, or even Scotland, but they get dry too! Where can I go, a rainforest?

That's nice dear. I hope he's yours!
I don't know about the pumping of water in the UK - I'd have thought not if you have hosepipe bans. If we have water restrictions in France you most deffo aren't allowed to take from a natural water source! However, if the river isn't drying up, and no-one is looking...................
