Came across this site by accident. We had a multi fuel stove installed last year and it saved us a packet on heating bills. Really keen to look at other ideas to save money, create your own power and generally be less reliant on the corporate supermarkets for grub. Shop locally whenever we can at local village shops etc. Apart from that, reducing the impact on the environment as well.
