I am looking for scion wood of the following for grafting, any offers for this Autumn, for my fruit and nut collection. Or What Do You Have of interest, any Polish, German, US, Australian etc varieties.

That's a hell of a collection your putting together,presumably you're using a dwarf rootstock or you must own a huge spread! I've got none of those varieties (sorry) but have you spoken to anyone at Pershore? OJ.

I can let you have some Irish Peach cuttings, but it will be a while yet as it's still in full leaf.

How do you find Irish Peach ?? As I had one many years ago, but it was very very droopy.

Mine is fairly upright and well behaved.
The apples are not that tasty until they have been stored for a week or two, then they have a wonderful taste. We only discovered that this year because there was a heavy crop and couldn't eat them fast enough.But that's probably due to my climate rather than the variety.

Glad I am not the only one that did that! I was thinking... I have a couple of portuguese peach trees!! Teach me to read properly instead of scanning!! :lol: :lol:

Similarly - I managed to get hold of a "Red Victoria" scion. Not having heard of it before, and grafted it onto a Plum rootstock.

Needless to say it did not take.

It was only 6 months later I found out it was a Red Cooking Apple and not a plum.

Oh I did laugh :lol:
