Chickens and fireworks

Post: # 209000Post thesunflowergal »

Every year the first firework get earlier, and near to bonfire night it gets pretty bad here. Any ideas what I can do to keep my ladies happy please?

I am going to make sure that they are shut in as soon as it is dark and black ou the windows.

Thanks Nikki

I think that's about all you can do. Mine have never seemed too bothered by them though. We used to get fireworks on the field at the back of my house, not 20 ft away from the hen house and it didn't seem to upset them at all. I think, as long as they're shut in and it's dark, they feel safe.
