What to do with half a bottle of white wine

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

What to do with half a bottle of white wine

Post: # 20647Post Andy Hamilton »

Not sure what is happening to me, there is half a bottle of white wine sitting in my fridge not being drank (it is sitting there with 6 beers!). As I seem to have gone somewhat funny in the head and have gone off drinking for a bit.... any suggestions for wine recipes?

Risotto! That's normally my excuse for opening a bottle of white but would also serve for using one up.

Invite a friend! You must have one of those folk amongst your acquaintances who'll drink anything...

But risotto is a brilliant idea, too. Invite a friend a make risotto for two.
